Sevilla visits Osasuna in Pamplona with the only thought of winning this game

Being really close to the leaders Barcelona and Real Madrid, Sevilla visits Osasuna in Pamplona with the only thought of winning this game. Here are our La Liga predictions for this intriguing fixture at the Estado El Sadar on Sunday.

With 30 points won so far Sevilla are third in La Liga, just one point behind the leader Barcelona and the second Real Madrid. That’s a pretty good place to be, but you can be sure that Sevilla aim even higher. The team is looking inspired under the new manager Julen Lopetegui who is motivated to redeem himself after a bad stint at Real Madrid last season.

Three wins in three games – this is how Sevilla’s current form looks like right now. Since their draw against Atletico Madrid, Los Rojiblancos won three consecutive times against Real Betis, Real Valladolid and Leganes. The team had some bad moments during the season, but now it seems that Lopetegui is starting to find the right path.

But Sevilla must get ready for a difficult game at the El Sadar. Despite of being a newcomer in La Liga, Osasuna are doing good so far and they are currently 9th in the league with 22 points won. Their record looks like this: 5 wins, 7 draws and 3 losses.

Osasuna approach this game against Sevilla after a win in the previous round. Arrasate’s team visited Espanyol and secured a 4-2 win, despite of the fact that Facundo Roncaglia got sent off just 7 minutes after the halftime break. Ruben Garcia, Avila, Moncayola and Roberto Torres scored for the visitors at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona.

In our La Liga predictions we believe that Osasuna and Sevilla are up for a really dramatic game at the El Sadar. For Sevilla it’s going to be tough to win this one, despite of being the favourite. Osasuna are a difficult opponent this season.
